The Hunter and the Beast (stylised as The Hunter & The Beast) is a paid DLC Lord Pack for Total War: Warhammer II. It released on September 11th, 2019 alongside The Empire Undivided Update.
The next DLC pack for Total War: Warhammer II is called The Hunter and The Beast and introduces two new lords for the Empire and Lizardmen factions. Both be used in the Eye of the Vortex campaign and Mortal Empires campaigns. The World of Total War: WARHAMMER II Millennia ago, besieged by a Chaos invasion, a conclave of High Elf mages forged a vast, arcane vortex. Its purpose was to draw the Winds of Magic from the world as a sinkhole drains an ocean, and blast the Daemonic hordes back to the Realm of Chaos.
The pack adds Nakai the Wanderer leading the Spirit of the Jungle faction of Lizardmen, and Markus Wulfhart leading the Huntsmarshal's Expedition faction of The Empire.
This is the first paid DLC for TWW2 to feature content for races/factions introduced in TWW1.
